Our Story
Cherished Investments was founded by LaShay LaRue — not because the market needed another marketing agency, but because the businesses she cared most about needed something more than tactics.
LaShay's background is in business development — the foundational work that has to happen before a business is ready to scale its marketing. She's helped businesses audit their operations, reposition their offers, restructure their messaging, and build the systems that allow growth to stick.
Over time, she recognized a pattern. The entrepreneurs and business owners she was working with were skilled, serious, and committed. But their businesses were running on effort and hope instead of infrastructure and systems. Marketing was disconnected from operations. Sales were dependent on the owner. Faith was kept separate from strategy as if the two couldn't coexist.
Cherished Investments exists to close that gap.
We are a faith-driven agency because that's who we are — not because it's a niche. It shows up in how we treat clients, how we operate internally, how we make decisions, and what we're ultimately building toward.

LaShay LaRue, Founder and CEO
LaShay LaRue has spent her career at the intersection of business development, marketing strategy, and organizational operations. Before founding Cherished Investments, she worked across corporate development, marketing, and real estate — building a working knowledge of what it actually takes to grow a business that lasts.
She is also the host of Entrepreneurship Now, a podcast for purpose-driven entrepreneurs building with strategy and faith.
Her work is practical, direct, and built on lived experience. She does not hand clients a framework and disappear. She works alongside them — as a strategic partner, a straight-talking advisor, and someone who is genuinely invested in the outcome.
Her word for 2026 is Stewardship. It runs through everything she builds.
